Partnering for a Secure School

Challenge

A new elementary school being constructed in a higher-crime area needed a complete technology and security solution to protect students, staff, and visitors. The project required coordination across multiple trades and systems while staying aligned with the construction timeline. 

Solution

Centric partnered with school leadership and construction managers early in the engineering process to design and implement a turnkey technology package for the entire campus. Our team managed multiple subcontractors throughout the project while installing IP cameras, access control, network switches, firewall infrastructure, mass notification capabilities, gymnasium audio systems, student Chromebooks, and teacher laptops. Every system was designed to work together as a fully integrated platform. 

Result

The school opened with a complete security and technology ecosystem already in place. Today, the campus operates with integrated access control, surveillance, and mass notification systems that help protect students and staff every day, along with reliable network infrastructure and a full gymnasium audio system that supports school operations and events.
